On Thursday, December 3rd, Bellevue EMS welcomed the arrival of our new ambulance. This rig replaced our old Medic 351. The new ambulance box was purchased from Life-Line Emergency Vehicles in Sumner, Iowa. It’s mounted on a 2020 Ford 4x4 F450 Super Duty chassis from Brad Deery Ford in Maquoketa. Bellevue EMS trades units in after ten years of service.

Some of the new features on this ambulance include:
- Liquid spring suspension, which makes the ride on 52 North a lot smoother for our patients.
- An upgraded 5-point seat belt system to keep our team safe.
- New cardiac monitor mounts for better accessibility while monitoring the patient

These modern rigs allow us to provide the best possible care to our patients while keeping everyone safe during transport. This purchase would not be possible without donations and community support. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make this possible.
